Roughly one and a half times the size of a victory class star destroyer, Talon Class Cruisers are built to be tough. This is my entry for Clashy's mini starship contest, and it is built to scale with the Mini Star Destroyer set.

Talon Class Cruisers were designed by the Kuat Drive Yards during the Clone Wars, but by the time they became fully operational, the deactivation of the droid army had long since been over.
The Empire employed Talon Cruisers to fight pirates on the outer rim and to settle 'disputes' on rebelious planets. Once the Rebellion started, Talon Cruisers were fitted with a single Gravity Well Projector.
Talon Cruisers were larger, faster, and more powerful than standard Star Destroyers, but were less used. The Talon's ability to land on most terrain was valuable; they would land directly on a battlefield and mass deploy walkers and troops.
Talon Cruisers were easily distinguished from other star destroyers because of their
elongated bridge and their
Atmospheric Stabilizer/landing fins.
Talon Cruisers were used by the New Republic after the fall of the Empire, but seven of the twenty Cruisers built are still missing, it is suspected that they are being kept by Moff's on the outer rim.
