I now that I'm not a staffer and that this isn't my site, but I think that the staff should lock this thread now, before it gets ugly. Threads like this involving politics always start arguments, which cause tempers to flare and then people say things they don't mean and normally wouldn't say. This just leaves the staff with more of a mess to clean us later down the road. And don't try to tell me that this has nothing to do with politics, because when you get down to the heart of the matter, it is the Democratic view versus the Republican view. So my best advice I could offer to staff is to kill this thread before it gets out of hand.
